BLINK (Hangul: 블링크) is the official fandom name for the South Korean k-pop girl group, BLACKPINK.
Etymology
The word BLINK is a combination of the words "bl/ack" and "p/ink", meaning the fans start with Blackpink and end with Blackpink.
Reveal
On November 14, 2016, BLACKPINK released an image on their official Instagram account (pictured to the right). Fans questioned the word shown - "BLINK" - and a few days after the name was confirmed to be a fanbase name.
